Healing Horses & Troubled Teens since 1995Not every teenager has the benefit of growing up in a loving, happy home. Some are victims of abuse, neglect, a system that shuffles them from foster home to foster home. Brook Haven Ranch was established in 1995 as a refuge for abused and neglected horses -- and teenagers who needed a second chance in life and the opportunity to become something more than society expects of them.

This is the mini bio...
The town of Trader's Bend, Montana, is a fictional town. It does not exist in the real world and you cannot visit it in your travels. Likewise, the people who populate Trader's Bend, Montana, are fictional people. Each of these fictional people is the creation of one of our fabulous writers, each of whom has poured their heart and soul into the characters they develop for Brook Haven Ranch. While the events which have happened to the fictional people who populate Trader's Bend may occur in the real world (children are physically, sexually, emotionally, and psychologically abused, they are neglected, people of all genders may be raped, people struggle with various mental disorders and physical illnesses, and so on), the events which are written into the histories of these characters and which take place on this site are entirely made up in the context of this site. Both the location of Trader's Bend and the people who inhabit this small town are fictional and therefore the events occurring in their lives are not real! Any similarities to any real town, real person, or real ranch is purely coincidental and not intended to offend.
